THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD: PEDDLING SHARIA AS SOCIAL JUSTICE

by Judith Bergman, March 30, 2017

Gehad el-Haddad, official spokesman for the Muslim Brotherhood (MB), is on a mission to rewrite the terrorist and radical history[1] of the MB. He seems to be doing this for the consumption of naïve Americans. These seem only too willing to believe -- in the name of tolerance, diversity and trying to be non-judgmental -- that an organization whose ultimate goal is the supreme reign of Islamic sharia law everywhere -- if necessary through violent jihad -- could possibly value anything even approximating equality and the rule of (non-sharia) law.

"We are not terrorists," wrote[2] el-Haddad in a recent article in the New York Times.

"The Muslim Brotherhood's philosophy is inspired by an understanding of Islam that emphasizes the values of social justice, equality and the rule of law... We believe that our faith is inherently pluralistic and comprehensive and that no one has a divine mandate or the right to impose a single vision on society... Nothing speaks more to our unequivocal commitment to nonviolence than our continued insistence on peaceful resistance, despite unprecedented state violence".

The "faith", which el-Haddad avoids naming, is Islam. The very essence of Islam, as sanctioned in the Quran and the hadiths, however, seems to be the belief in a divine mandate to impose the single vision of Islam on the world -- if necessary, through violent jihad. Its motto is:

"Allah is our objective; the Prophet is our leader; the Quran is our law; Jihad is our way; dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope".

Even dawa, the Islamic call to conversion, or proselytizing -- as explained by the Muslim Brotherhood's spiritual leader, Yusuf al-Qaradawi, host of one of Al Jazeera's most popular programs, Sharia and Life, which reaches an estimated 60 million viewers worldwide -- is an Islamic summons for the non-violent conquest of non-Muslim lands. As Qaradawi told[3] a Muslim Arab Youth Association convention in Toledo, Ohio, in 1995, "We will conquer Europe, we will conquer America! Not through sword but through Da'wa."

Qaradawi, in a recording[4] from 2007, says that the aim of this "peaceful" conquest consists mainly of the introduction of Islamic law, sharia. According[5] to Qaradawi, sharia should be introduced in a new country gradually, over a five-year period, before implementing it in full. Sharia includes the end of free speech under "blasphemy laws"; the oppression of women, including women being worth half as much as a man in court and inheritance; polygamy, and the persecution of Jews (Qaradawi advocates[6] killing all of them). Qaradawi has explained in TV recordings how sharia also includes chopping off hands[7] for theft, killing apostates[8] and homosexuals,[9] as well as beating women[10] as a means of "disciplining" them.

The New York Times, ostensibly concerned with "fake news", evidently has no qualms about lending its pages to such straightforward propaganda as El-Haddad's piece on behalf of the Muslim Brotherhood.

According to a recent report[11] by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), the MB recently launched a lobbying offensive in the United States to charm decision-makers in the Trump administration and Congress to give up on the Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Designation Act of 2017,[12] re-introduced on January 9, 2017, by Senator Ted Cruz.

According to the MEMRI report,[13] the Muslim Brotherhood's lobbying efforts include:

Launching a widespread informational media campaign, including the hiring of U.S. lobbying and legal firms, outreach to the press in the U.S., and dissemination of informational content aimed at improving its image in the West, particularly in the U.S."

The purpose is "to convey that it is not a terrorist organization, but rather an ideological movement whose methods of operation are peaceful".

Human Rights Watch, an organization that is supposed to look out for victims of human rights abuses, not abusers of human rights, also jumped on that bandwagon. Human Rights Watch is begging[14] US decision makers not to designate the Muslim Brotherhood -- who, if they had their way, would take away everyone's human rights and substitute them with sharia law -- a foreign terrorist organization.

The MEMRI report also cites[15] former MB official Tareq Abu Al-Sa'ad's claim that, as part of its efforts to improve its image in the U.S., "the MB relies on specific American families who are members of the MB and have close ties to the U.S. administration... to contact human rights organizations to help improve its image in Washington".

Conveniently, Hamas -- which according to Article Two of its charter,[16] "is one of the wings of Moslem Brotherhood in Palestine. The Moslem Brotherhood Movement is a universal organization which constitutes the largest Islamic movement in modern times..." -- is, it seems, working on a new charter[17] which would declare that Hamas is not a part of the Muslim Brotherhood, despite always having been so. That way, is the MB's "narrative" of newfound "nonviolence" suddenly supposed to become believable?

The Muslim Brotherhood evidently considers the West filled with utter dupes, willing to take anything at face value that is served up to them. One can hardly blame them. The West has swallowed whole the propaganda of Islam as a "religion of peace". Why should the US not buy the equally false idea that the MB is a non-violent, pluralistic, social justice movement?

According to the MEMRI report:[18]

"Evidence of the lobbying moves could be seen in comments by a London-based MB official, Mohamed Soudan, who said in late January that the Muslim Brotherhood was speaking to American politicians, State Department officials, members of Congress, and academics, in order to explain the nonviolent history of the movement since its establishment in 1928".

Left: The emblem of the Muslim Brotherhood. Right: While being hosted by the State Department on a visit to Washington in January 2015, Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood judge Waleed Sharaby flashed the organization's four-finger "Rabia" sign.

Also according to the MEMRI report:[19]

"On February 5, the Saudi website Elaph reported that the MB had signed a contract with an American lobbying firm, paying it $4.8 million to help it establish ties with Trump administration officials in order to improve its image in U.S. media. According to the report, the contract included organizing meetings with Trump administration officials, submitting documents on Egyptian government mistreatment of the movement and its members, publishing articles in American media, and providing platforms for MB officials in the American print and TV media. Elaph added that elements close to the Obama administration had helped the movement sign the contract with this firm, whose officials include figures close to Obama's election campaign and to Hillary Clinton. According to Elaph, the firm employs dozens of former White House and State Department staffers who have extensive ties to members of Congress and political and strategic research centers in the U.S".

Is anyone doing anything substantial to counter the Muslim Brotherhood's lobbying offensive in the United States?

The Muslim Brotherhood: Peddling Sharia as Social Justice

If we look at the historical record of the Muslim Brotherhood Movement we will find the following facts.

It's a political movement that had good relations with Nazi Germany and the Nazi state during the 1930s. Some of its leaders maintained correspondence with Nazi leaders and admired Hitler.

It's the first political movement in the Middle East which had resorted to political assassination against its political opponents. The movement believes wrongly that Secularism is the root of all evil and is an obstacle to its aim of creating Islamic states because it will lead to freedom of thought and expression which is contrary to its political ideology.

The Movement has never come out and denounced terrorism in the strongest terms,it did not condemn atrocities committed by Boko Haram in Nigeria or the Taliban in Afghanistan let alone the horrors of ISIS in Iraq and Syria and not even the destruction of Sufi shrines by extremist groups in Pakistan and Afghanistan..

The MB Movement cannot claim to speak for all Muslims because its power-base is very narrow and despite the media Blitzkreig in America, most Muslims still remember its murky past and its crimes in Egypt.

"Social Justice" if applied with logic and reality would demand that all Muslims be expelled from every civilized nation. Muslims all belong to one social unit, the ummah, the body of Islam. They all must be treated as one to comply with social justice. They say they are one in Sharia Law. It is following logic and their law to treat them as one.

If society were to treat Islam as Islam treats all others, then society would kill every one. That is what Islam's final solution is. The conversion to Islam or the death of all who do not submit is the final demand of Islam,.

I finally see a way that social justice can be applied. It is to treat all of Islam as one.

Do unto Islam as Islam does unto others."Social Justice" if applied as logic and reality should apply it, would demand that all Muslims be expelled from every civilized nation. If they are not a terrorist organization then why was there a raid just a couple of weeks ago in Cairo of a Muslim Brotherhood cell planning to reboot their militant wing. They are subversive, obstructive and downright evil. They have already implemented their master plan to infiltrate and influence all levels of government in the US, Turkey, Great Britain and Germany. What about the Awan brothers having full ability to hack into government and their ties to Huma Abedin and the Brotherhood. It's so clear. Egypt was smart to root them out. They fled to England and Turkey and are proceeding with their plans for world domination.

The Brotherhood through it many tentacles has been controlling western colleges and universities for years. They indoctrinate their recruits young.

Thomas Jefferson understood the threat of Islam. He read the Koran to gain more knowledge of the threat. The First Barbary War was the first of two Barbary Wars between the United States and the four North African states known collectively as the "Barbary States". Three of these were nominal provinces of the Ottoman Empire, but in practice autonomous: Tripoli, Algiers, and Tunis (Islamic countries). These Muslim countries were boarding American and Western commercial ships, pirating the ship's stores and enslaving the crews.

Most captives were pressed into hard labor in the service of the Barbary pirates and struggled under extremely poor conditions that exposed them to vermin and disease. As word of their treatment reached the U.S., through freed captives' narratives and letters, Americans pushed for direct government action to stop the piracy against U.S. ships.

In March 1786, Thomas Jefferson and John Adams went to London to negotiate with Tripoli's envoy, ambassador Sidi Haji Abdrahaman. When they enquired "concerning the ground of the pretensions to make war upon nations who had done them no injury", the ambassador replied:

"It was written in their Koran, that all nations which had not acknowledged the Prophet were sinners, whom it was the right and duty of the faithful to plunder and enslave; and that every Muslim who was slain in this warfare was sure to go to paradise."

Jefferson reported the conversation to Secretary of Foreign Affairs John Jay, who submitted the ambassador's comments and offer to Congress. Jefferson argued that paying tribute would encourage more attacks.

After the Berber (Muslim) countries declared war on the United States, the US responded with force. The turning point in the war was the Battle of Derna (April—May 1805). William Eaton, a former Army captain and US Marine Corps 1st Lieutenant Presley O'Bannon led a force of U.S. Marines on a march across the desert from Alexandria, Egypt, to capture the Tripolitan (today's Libya) city of Derna. This was the first time the United States flag was raised in victory on foreign soil. The action is memorialized in a line of the Marines' Hymn—"to the shores of Tripoli". Every US Marine knows the history of this hymn. The capturing of the city gave American negotiators leverage in securing the return of hostages and the end of the war.

The Muslim Brotherhood was founded in Egypt in 1928 by Hassan al-Banna, a 22-year old Muslim who admired Adolf Hitler's hatred of the Jews and persistently wrote to Hitler to express his admiration for Hitler and his desire for collaboration with Hitler's Nazi Party. When Hitler rose to power, his Nazis supported al-Banna, a school teacher, to grow the Muslim Brotherhood into its ally in the Middle East; by 1938, the membership of Muslim Brotherhood topped 200,000.

During World War II, members of the Muslim Brotherhood spied for Hitler's Nazis in the Middle East (against the Allies) and fought for Hitler as Nazi troops in two specially formed Muslim Waffen-SS Handschar Divisions. 'Handschar' is German for scimitar, the curved saber used by the Muslim troops of the Ottoman empire. Hitler was friends with Haj Amin al-Husseini, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and a close ally of al-Banna, in Berlin, where he lived as Hitler's VIP guest from 1941 to 1945 before joining al-Banna in Egypt in 1946. If you search online, you can see him in a German military uniform.

The real sad reality is Human Rights Watch is examining sharia law from an abstract model and not going to the source, where sharia law is applied by the Muslim Brotherhood most directly; in Egypt. It is a horror show, forced taxes collected from Copts, intimidation if not actual crimes committed by "religious" police. Executions and assassinations, seizure of property anyone exciting envy or greed in these morally vacant and despicable actors of "Islam" are the equal of Nazis persecuting Jews in Germany (Who they intentionally model themselves after.). We have endured this lapse in humanity through the actors of western and eastern socialism we don't need a new form of this oppression in religious guise.

Great article, the Muslim Brotherhood was a principle force behind the first attack on the WTC, its sheikh who's freedom they continued to advocate also worked through the ACLU lawyer. One lower federal court has already declared the Muslim Brotherhood a co conspirator. These Religious fanatics exploit our legal system with the end of destroying it, we must turn the tables and the quickest most just way to do it is to have our Congress declare the Muslim brotherhood and its many forms terrorists.

The imposition of sharia law is contrary to the Constitution, no wonder Obama holds the Constitution contempt.

Albert Reingewirtz

No Islamic terror exist today without the existence of their parent, the Muslim Brotherhood. Anything attached to the Brotherhood is terror.
